(1)These rules could also be referred to as the officer category III(Combined Competitive Examination) Rules 2021

(2)They shall get force on the date of their publication within the Official Gazette.

(3)These rules shall apply to the Post of officer category III level cadre posts, as laid out in Appendix I

2.Definitions :- In these rules, unless the context otherwise needs

The physical test ended on January 29.  A total of 6.56 lakh candidates appeared for the physical test, out of which 2.94 lakh candidates have passed the written test, the written test of which was taken on April 10.  The result of which has been made public.  It may be mentioned that 10,459 posts of armed and non-armed constable-Lokarakshak and SRPF constable of Lokarakshak cadre will be filled in Gujarat Police Department.

 Lokarakshak recruitment has 25 marks of physical test and 100 marks of written test.  No matter how low the marks in the physical test, the candidate can be successful by getting more marks in the written test.

"Appendix" suggests that associate degree Appendix appended to those rules.

"Board" suggests that the Gujarat Subordinate Services choice Board, Gandhinagar or such Board as could also be established  by the regime during this behalf

"Examination" suggests that the Combined Competitive Examination for direct enlisting to the posts of officer, category III within the State personnel and also the State Reserve personnel and Sepoy (Male) and Sepoy (Female)/Matron within the Jail Department laid out in Appendex I.which includes Physical take a look at and Written take a look at as noted in rule eight.

Physical Standard Taste:-

Candidates who pass the Physical Efficiency Test shall have to undergo Physical Standard Test.
