1st National Toy Fair - 2021 Guide for Participants Learning through play is an important part of a child's development.  Toys and games help children develop their senses, problem solving skills, conflict resolution and many other skills.  When children play with other children, they also learn to accept the opinions of others and to take care of others.  


Children's mental skills are also developed while playing.  Toys nurture values ​​in children such as creativity, imagination and cooperation, interacting with each other, respecting each other, etc.  The purpose of education is the holistic development of the child which includes the development of cognitive, psychosocial and emotional aspects. 


 To achieve this goal, children need a variety of experiences, including the creation of new knowledge and its relationship to existing knowledge.  Toys or games, whether physical or virtual, are friendly tools for scholars.  Toys have long been used to keep children engaged in various sports.  


Over time, the form of the toys and the materials used to make the toys have evolved, especially with the development of technology;  The importance of toys in education has also increased.  In his keynote address on August 30, 2020, the Hon'ble Prime Minister highlighted the huge potential of the toy market and the opportunities to promote self-reliant Indian toys. 


 With the aim of providing active and enjoyable education by involving children in the teaching-learning process and pedagogy and promoting the indigenous toy industry, in collaboration with other Ministries including the Ministry of Education, by the Ministry of Textiles dated: 27/02/2021 to 02/03/2021 (Din -  4) Meanwhile the first national toy fair is organized in virtual mode.


.  Participants: The fair will have 75 exhibition stalls for the Department of School Education and Literacy (D SEL) of the Ministry of Education, Government of India.  NCERT  , S, C.E.R.T.  , CBSE  With their schools and teachers as well as IITs.  , Gandhinagar will present his performance in this exhibition slots / stalls.


  Objectives: To provide institutions, teachers and instructors with the opportunity to display various educational toys developed by them as well as the usefulness of toys in learning and understanding various aspects and concepts of various subjects such as environment education, science, mathematics, languages, social sciences, vocational education etc.  Provide an opportunity to explain.  


Provide a platform for children to express and advance their natural curiosity, creativity, innovation and research ability.  Inspiring children to come up with innovative ideas for making educational toys.  Ensuring that children develop a better and clearer understanding of concepts by making toys. 


 Emphasis on research / exploration and practical education as the main tool for achieving the goals of self-reliance, socio-economic and socio-situational development of the nation and the world.  To make children aware of how toys have evolved and influenced by different individuals, cultures, societies and the environment.
