Covid 19 vaccine covishied guideline changed by medical central team

 The Central Government has issued new pointers for the Covishield immunizing agent advising a spot of vi to eight weeks between the primary and second doses of the Covishield immunizing agent. 



Earlier, the gap was four weeks. during this regard, the Central Government has written a letter to all or any the states and union territories concerning the new pointers.


As per an announcement, the choice has been taken seeable of the rising scientific proof.



Notably, the new pointers ar solely applicable to the Covishield immunizing agent and not the Covaxin coronavirus immunizing agent.

Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan wrote a letter to the Chief Secretaries of States/UTs on weekday, asking them to make sure the administration of second dose of Covishield to beneficiaries among the stipulated amount of 4-8 weeks once the primary dose.

"Keeping the present scientific proof seeable, it seems that protection is increased if the second dose of COVISHIELD is run between 6-8 weeks, however not later than stipulated amount of eight weeks," browse an announcement.
