 Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel on Saturday reviewed the Corona at Vadodara.  He further said that while the state government was working effectively to curb the growing corona infection in the state, it was imperative that the citizens also adhere to the Corona Protocol and cooperate with restraint.  The state government has formed a team of specialist doctors to take stern action against private hospitals in the state for making false bills for corona patients and trying to collect money unnecessarily.  The teams will visit all the private hospitals in the state from Sunday to study the treatment given to the patients and if any irregularities are found, strict action will be taken under the Epidemic Act.

 Giving a comprehensive review of the corona at Vadodara, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel added, "We are also taking appropriate decisions by reviewing the core committee meeting held daily under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani to prevent the transition at a time when there are currently 300 to 400 cases in the state."  There is no need for Gujarat Lockdown in the state at present. The right decision will be taken at the right time as per the need.

 He added that the municipal commissioner and district collector have been empowered to reserve more government beds in private hospitals as per the need so that corona patients can get immediate treatment in the state's metros.  Not only this, the state government has also decided to admit the citizens coming to Gujarat from other states whose RTPCR test will be negative, the implementation of which has also started from the 1st date.  There is no need to worry, he has ordered 30,000 more vials which will be available soon. He added that the vaccination drive in the state is also in full swing and the quantity of vaccines is being received on time. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Health Minister  While we are in constant coordination with the Minister, citizens above 3 years of age have also requested for vaccination.  


Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel said that the number of corona cases has been increasing across the country and the state for the last ten days.  Cases have also increased in the state with the onset of the second phase of corona transition.  The state government is providing guidance to the district system operators regarding the care of Koro patients.  The number of patients in Vadodara city is also increasing. The state government is constantly concerned about the speedy treatment of corona patients in the state.
