Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive India and the glorious history of it’s people, culture and achievements.
This Mahotsav is dedicated to the people of India who have not only been instrumental in bringing India thus far in its evolutionary journey but also hold within them the power and potential to enable Prime Minister Modi’s vision of activating India 2.0, fuelled by the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

AzadikaAmritMahotsav is an embodiment of all that is progressive about India’s socio-cultural, political and economic identity. The official journey of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ commences on 12th March, 2021 which starts a 75 week countdown to our 75th anniversary of Independence and will end post a year on 15th August, 2023.

National holidays are celebrated all over the country with much fanfare and enthusiasm every year. This year also 15th August i.e. our Independence Day will be celebrated with a lot of response. In order for this to happen, everyone should follow the guidelines of the Government of India as well as the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Health and Welfare of India regarding the provision of video cassettes to protect people who are not at risk of gathering in large numbers. It is to be celebrated at the state level, district level, taluka level and gram panchayats through maximum use of technology so that the Government of India has given the necessary instructions along with this. Measures must be taken with consideration
State level
Hon'ble Chief Minister will return the national flag at 9:00 am at Junagadh this time as well as the national anthem will be played along with paramilitary force NCC as well as scout guides etc. Police guard of honor will be given. On this auspicious occasion the national anthem will also be addressed by the Chief Minister.
About 200 dignitaries from Junagadh city and Junagadh district were present at the event to be held at Junagadh district on the eve of Independence Day to invite Korona health heat such as doctor health workers as well as people who have recovered from the epidemic by beating Korona in critical condition as well as freedom fighters. To invite with this too
As part of Independence Day 2021 15th August celebrations, a state level cultural program will be organized at Junagadh. The program will be limited to one thousand people.
District level
Along with the above mentioned matters, at the district level, the national flag will be hoisted at the district headquarters by the Hon'ble Minister, District Collector. The national anthem will also be played.

Taluka level
Sub Divisional Magistrate Mamlatdar Shri will hoist the national flag at the taluka headquarters along with the national anthem will be hoisted and a speech will be given by the dignitary.
As part of the Independence Day celebrations, a 30-minute cultural program will also be organized at the taluka level by the Department of Patriotic Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities. Such an arrangement has to be made

Other programs include tree planting as well as digital discussion under school intercollegiate online quiz about patriotism essay poetry writing competition etc. Organizing public events along with selected boys on social media to sing patriotic songs by girls to express their views about patriotism The themed baby can also be organized to run an online campaign through the patriotic team based NSS and also to organize the corresponding activities approved by the state government.
