USE BANKING RTGS FACILITY FOR 24 HOURS NOW
Banking system is improving day by day across India. Online payment facility is being used more and more by people across India to save time and energy. Google pay phonepe and UPI are being used more and more. The RBI is increasingly deciding to increase the number of people who do not have to go to the bank to make large transactions. The RBI has earlier decided that the NEFT facility will allow people to avail the facility 24 hours a day. The RBI has decided to increase the coverage of such facilities
Transactions above Rs 2 lakh can now be done through RTGS. With the implementation of RTGS, transactions of more than Rs 2 lakh can now be done easily by the RBI. People can easily do it 24 hours a day, especially for big business. The online transaction is favorable whether the charge is on it or not but the online transaction is favorable for it. Therefore, the RBI has instructed all banks to improve the banking system so that you can avail these facilities.
The monetary policy meeting is held by the RBI and is held over a period of time. There are various discussions for the area of the banking system. The issue of making RTGS available 24 hours a day was under proper consideration.
RTGS was launched in India on March 26, 2006 but had some limitations that the transaction went below Rs 2 lakh and a proper charge had to be paid to the transaction holder.
Banks' current real time gross settlement system will now be available to people across India 24 hours a day. All people will be able to avail this facility from midnight on December 14, 2020 to midnight, according to Mr. Shaktikant Das, Governor, Reserve Bank of India. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Monetary Policy scheduled for December 4.
The RTGS system will now make it easier for customers to make face-to-face transactions and also save time. The system operates from 7 am to 6 pm on all working days except the second and fourth Saturday of every month which are considered as working days. There will be no time limit for it to be available for 8 hours from now on

For RBI's RTGS vital 24 hour facility, India has now joined in some important days where RTGS will be available round the clock i.e. 24 hours a day and 24 hours a day NEFT i.e. electronic fund transfer and 24 hours. And the facility to make it available for seven days is already provided
