Will the government impose lockdown across the country?

Amid rising cases of Covid-19, the question is whether the central government will impose a nationwide lockdown to prevent the transition.  A member of the Policy Commission and Chairman of the Covid-19 Taskforce, Dr.  When VK Paul was asked this question, he answered openly, saying that the central government has given directions to the states to take the lockdown to break the chain of transition.

The guidelines were announced on April 29

VK Paul said, "When the spread of the virus increases, public movement is banned along with other measures to break the chain. A guideline was issued on April 29 directing the states to stop the transmission."  "States were told to stop transmission and impose night curfew in areas where the transition rate is more than 10 per cent," he said.  However, the decision is up to the state governments.  Apart from this there is rock on social, political, sports, religious programs.  Shopping complexes, theaters, restaurants, bars, sports complexes, swimming pools, places of worship, etc. have been ordered closed.
