Sabudana Chips Recipe
Sabudana is a great source of energy and jeera is considered to be a major ingredient in helping digestion, and the combination of these 2 ingredients make the sabudana papad a much better alternative to packet chips and processed finger foods.
Ingredients of Sabudana Chips
1 Cup Sabudana
4 cups Water
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Lemon Juice
2-3 drops of food colouring
Oil for frying
How to Make Sabudana Chips
1.Soak the sadudana in water overnight.
2.Boil water in a pan. Add the soaked sabudana. Season it with salt, pepper and lemon juice.
3.Let it cook for 10-15 minutes. Once the sabudana has further expanded and the texture is mushy, remove it from flame.
4.Spread a plastic sheet, pour out sabudana mixture using a spoon. This should be about the size of the chips you desire. Make sure you leave equal distance between each serving.
5.Let this dry in the sun for almost a day. The chips are ready, they can be stored in an airtight container for about a month.
6.Heat oil in a kadhai. Deep fry the chips. Make sure you add some pressure on each chip while frying, allowing every sabudana to pop.
7.The chips are ready!
